More on Oreo the Sun Lover

It's been days since we saw more sunshine in the Bay Area. Sun lover Oreo makes sure she's at her tent just before the sun gets to it.

Yes, she can't get enough of the sun. When it moved, she had to relocate.

We first noticed Oreo's love for sunbathing when we left the window blinds up to give the room some light and warmth.

After that, we noticed that Oreo would position herself at the same location every time, waiting for the sunlight to reach her tent as she dozes off and enjoys the warmth.

Hence, whenever we're home in the afternoon, we put up the blinds on purpose and let her enjoy her afternoon sunbathing ritual.

Has it been 5 years already?

It's 2019! Oreo and Peter have now been together for five years. Oreo may be a senior bunny, but she sure can hop fast when the treat can sounds.

Although it's almost Spring time, it's still cold outside so the bunnies love a good huddle.

Here's their latest video enjoying a nice lunch of dandelion leaves and cilantro.

Happy 4th Anniversary, Oreo & Peter!

Four years ago, we took Oreo to the Dublin Petsmart to find a new friend after her sister Cookie died. It was February 15, 2014. Peter liked Oreo immediately, and they bonded within a week.

Oreo Speaks

In my 20s I drew comic strips for my Engineering club in college. The fun continued when I started working as a Research Associate in the same university, where I drew comic strips and illustrations for their publications.

With that, I couldn't help but put captions on funny pictures--many of which are in my scrapbook collection. Here are some of those pictures where Oreo and Peter are the stars.

Happy 3rd Annniversary, Oreo & Peter!

It was February 15, 2014 when Oreo and Peter first met. Too bad they were boarding for their third anniversary because our home was under renovation. We miss them and hope to see them soon. Meanwhile, Kimberley Brown gave them an anniversary treat at her home.
